New Zealand Farm Assurance Incorporated (NZFAI) represents the single largest collaboration in the primary sector. Collectively, our members represent over 95% of New Zealand's beef, sheep, deer, and wool production.

Faced with an increasingly complex global and domestic market landscape, NZFAI members have united to create world-leading on and off-farm assurance standards.

Since its inception in 2020, NZFAI has delivered tangible benefits to its members, including reduced duplication and lower costs.

Joining NZFAI is also about being part of a farming community that is adapting and growing, and providing leadership and support for farmers as they work towards a sustainable future for New Zealand farming.

Whether you join as a full, sector or associate/brand member, you'll be doing something great for New Zealand.

Membership Levels

Full

Full members will have a direct commercial relationship with suppliers and require independently verified certification to the NZFAP and/or NZFAP Plus Standard.

Sector

Sector members will join as a group where they don't have a direct, on-farm audit relationship with the supplier but will use a bi-product from sheep, beef, and deer and will want to use NZFAP certification status.

Associate/ Brand

Associate/Brand members will be New Zealand-based organisations (commercial or not-for-profit) that support farmers to meet NZFAI assurance programmes or onshore/offshore brands wishing to use the New Zealand Farm Assured trademark on promotional material.
